Join us as the NodeOps team takes a moment to reflect on the past year and celebrate our successes. They are significant, but, first, we need to thank you all. All you node runners, you are the reason we are here. We were sure you were out there and that you needed Node-as-a-Service and your demand flew past all our expectations. So, thank you, we couldn't have done it without you. To all you protocols who needed node runners to solve your decentralization issues, thank you. NodeOps is humbled to have been a part of creating the synergy between your protocols and the node runners who strengthen them.
In the top ten
OK, we admit it, we're Web3 geeks, and so we read Messari’s State of DePIN 2024 report. Imagine how proud we are that if you compare NodeOps' decentralized NaaS platform to the other DePIN projects out there, then we are among the top 10 DePIN projects to date.
And that's just with one compute service, nodes! With the launch of Atlas Network, the NodeOps team is about to expand beyond node compute into simplifying how users access and consume compute across multiple verticals. We are bursting with excitement about what 2025 will bring.
A productive 2024
2024 was a fantastic year for the NodeOps ecosystem, let's double-click on some of the numbers that stand out.
Node Infrastructure Growth
NodeOps deployed 55,000+ nodes across 45 blockchain networks blasting past 2023's figures. Usability is a big part of the NodeOps service, which is why the team improved the node running experience with NodeFolio, a feature-rich dashboard that empowers users with seamless node management, performance tracking, and operational insights.
Ecosystem Expansion and Partnerships
Our partner base grew significantly throughout 2024, with support for EigenLayer, Aethir, CARV, Avail, and Movement Labs to name a few. That's right folks it's now just a couple of clicks to seamlessly operate a node on these protocols’ infrastructure. Perhaps you are one of the lucky ones who participated as a Genesis node operator with Aethir Cloud or CARV games .
Community Engagement and Growth
Did you catch us at Token 2049? The NodeOps team was there fostering collaboration with hundreds of industry leaders and innovators.
If you didn't meet us IRL, hopefully, you managed to catch some of our AMAs with our partners, notable events included Arbitrum and 0G Labs.
Passing on the love
NodeOps firmly believes that node running is a reliable and predictable way for everyone to earn in Web3. And, we back that with incentives that make a difference to your pocket. In 2024, we distributed over 12 million Node Points.
Hopefully, you node runners are already enjoying the NodeOps credit redemption flow. This has been hugely successful in driving on-chain activity and enhancing platform accessibility.
Technical Advancements
We mentioned we're geeks, right? So here at NodeOps, we get most excited about our technical achievements. In 2024 we enhanced our monitoring stack to optimize how we deliver proactive alerts for critical systems, and we streamlined our deployments to improve scalability and operational efficiency.
The entire tech stack is sweetly singing thanks to the tuning it got in 2024. It leverages AI-powered monitoring features, containerized infrastructure, and preset templates to accelerate our innovation. A ton of automation was improved, something the technical team is immensely proud of considering how complex some of our CLI-based workflows are that have been automated, and how effectively these have reduced operational overhead.
A laser focus on our ecosystem
At the end of the day though, it's all about supporting our ecosystem, both our partners and you the node runners. In 2024, we smoothed away a multitude of frictions with our Node Bootstrapping events to address the inefficiencies that protocols face in traditional node sale models.
And, it shows how successful we were when you look at the X and Discord numbers: 99k+ users on X/Twitter and 10.3k+ users on Discord, and growing every day.
So, what for 2025?
The NodeOps team has experienced such success, that they now have a compute issue! And what does a team this determined do when they need more compute? They build an ecosystem to solve for the issues inherent in the compute marketplace. That means that while we will continue to ensure that NodeOps remains the leading Node-as-a-Service , Infrastructure-as-a-Service solution for Web3, we will work tirelessly to launch Atlas Network as the leading general-purpose DePIN for Web3 to redefine cloud infrastructure management, and bring you the nodes you need.
